Ulta is not very helpfull to male customers. I brought a picture from ulta website and the associate(?) Said oh we are out of those andvtook me to the display and tried to up sell. ULTA salon, inexperienced salon worker with license. Blonde root coverup requested, salon worker turned entire color grey. Spent 4 3/4 hrs trying to get roots colored. Finally had to strip color and start over. Will not shop here again in elkridge md!

I went in to Ulta once to get matched with a new foundation, the lady didn't even know what the foundation undertones were. She matched me with a cool undertone when I am very obviously a warm undertone. I noticed when I got home how horrible it looked. I placed an online order with Ulta, and spent over $50 so I could receive a free beauty bag with cosmetics during Black Friday sales event. I have never had a worse customer service experience than I've had today. I am shocked that a major retailer would treat their customers so poorly. I have never taken the time to blast a company on social media but I am now because this is just ridiculous. I am posting here my message to Ulta Beauty and an email I received from them. I tried to return an eyeshadow palette I bought at Ulta. I had my receipt, the item I used only 1 time. It was barely over the 60 day return policy so I asked the sales clerk if I could get a store credit since that's what it says on the back of the receipt. She was very rude and immediately said NO, we don't return anything after 60 days it tells you that plainly on your receipt. I said OK show me where it says that at because I don't see it.... I purchased a hair iron. It was returned shortly after. I never received the credit on my card. They told me YOUR CREDIT WAS PUT ON ANOTHER PERSON'S CARD. To date, I have never received my credit. Every time I write, I receive a note saying "We are investigating it". Unless I get a lawyer, I will most likely never get my refund. NEVER EXCHANGE ANYTHING WITH THIS STORE ON A DEBIT CARD. The Manager Michelle Berger was very rude at the Gurnee Ulta will never purchase from Ulta ever. Her customer service is appalling
