Cannot get a simple yes/no answer from Ulta. They are requiring customers to give out phone numbers in order to qualify for rewards program.
My question to two Ulta reps: Does Ulta sell customer phone numbers to other companies? Cannot get a simple yes/no answer. Have been referred to company policy (in small type) but do not see any policy regarding what they do with customer phone numbers. If they do, they should make it clear to customers before they agree to participate in the rewards program.
Being harassed by telemarketers might not be worth the Ulta reward points! This website is requiring more words be entered in details box, but there are no more necessary details to give!
Reason of review: company not transparent about policies.
Preferred solution: Ulta employees should be required to let customers know what the company does with customer phone numbers BEFORE asking if they want to sign up for the rewards program..
